How about a lefty carbon...?

Just put one on my Scott g-zero (with adapter) and it's rather nice.

I know what you mean riding without a fork is hard work what with having to ride a wheelie all the time...

But seriously I also run a SID and it works very nice and good for the frame geometry of a 90s bike.
