Headset recommendation

As part of the 'upgrade' to moo moo ,

I'm looking for a nice quality 1 inch headset to replace the m part one I've got currently fitted, thinking something retro looking, without blowing a fortune on a chris king, any recommendations or suggestions ?

Campagnolo Record road headset. Looks the part and is absolutely bombproof, plus it has grease ports on the side so maintenance is a doddle.

Bearing rough?
Poor sealing?
Heavy?

They're not bad headsets really. Just not a trendy brand name ;_)

Canecreek 40 should be good.
Personally just bought a 7 quid cartridge generic VP/cane creek job and looks tidy.
A 40 for the better bike if I can afford it.

The M Part one I had turned out to have tiny bearings inside the big assembly, which didn't last long.
