Hi, I need a bit of advice. I have a 1999 Trek VRX 500 and the front mech (Shimano LX) is busted so I'm trying to find an XTR version to replace it. It is a bottom pull/bottom bracket mount version for a 9 speed cassette. My question is will the 10 speed version XTR front mech work or do I have to get a 9 speed version. If I do have to get the 9 speed version does anyone have any idea what model number is please. Regards, Simon
