I am a full on newbie so please bare with me.
What is the name given to 90's MTB frames with the flared rop bars? I have seen a few of these on a forum somewhere, it may or may not have been on retrobike.
I am interested in building one of these bad boys and wondered if I was in the right place to seek further info....

Do you mean drop bars, there?

Don't know that there's a particular name, although frankenbike seems to be thrown around. As to seeking info on building such a thing, I do believe you have found the correct place - and I'm sure somebody who's been there, done that will be along shortly...
