[/b]Raleigh Chinook purple and white.
Ligtweight. A very nice ride.
Lots of original spec ( dont know all the technical bits ) and very good condition for age. kept indoors all its life.

Looking to sell as no longer have spare room to keep it in and after some ideas on its value, please help anyone.
Suffolk.

If only there was a 'HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH' thread or a 'MTB FOR SALE' forum on this site...

Not a lot. £30-40 maybe. It'd probably fetch more broken for its components - giVe them a wipe with an oily rag and you can sell them as NOS.

Had a similar vintage Raleigh on here for free, took a month for a taker. But otherwise, £30 or so.

The xyz thread is a sticky at the top of this forum.

Ride it and enjoy it. Then report back on here, get addicted and spend all your money on beautiful old bikes. That's the way most do it!

You clicked "New Topic" instead of "Post Reply"..... for some reason it is possible to add a new post to the general forum whilst in the XYZ Thread, and the 2 buttons are next to each other

I like that. wouldnt mind owning one, imagine telling everyone you own a chinook

if you do sell fairly cheap (and will send it) give me a heads up. im being fussy with bikes lately but I really like the look of that.
