Bombers, I didn't know if they're strictly 96 but imx they are far better than Judy :o

If you really want to run discs, then Bombers are surely the way to go.. Aside from the fact that most of the other forks of similar age can't (either don't have tabs or are a touch too flexy!), then that's your best bet. They're also cheap and easy to maintain! First Bombers were out in 1996 - so 'just' the right era..

Having said that, I run 2k> SID's on both my '95 frames, and have no issues with the function or looks, even if they're not 'retro'.

as a plus side if there off the bike and someone breaks in you can use them for self defence

bombers for sure although when I recently bought forks for my 96 cinder cone I went with 'modern' F80X over a Z3 and am not regretting it at all.
