Im wanting some skinny rubber to put onto a set of mavic x517's. What i want in paticular is totally bald, not tread, period. Something akin to the Kojak tyres but better quality.. Light as possible.
Any suggestions or recommendations? I think some of the Road specific makers do mtb versions so this question is also posed to the Roadies on here.

Do either of you or anyone else remember a totally bald tyre from the mid-late '90's ? It was wide at 1.95" and really looked cool as hell :D

Speccy fatboys...26x1.25

Run them on my AA "commuter", and few other things before that frame arrived.

I think Conti do something similar/slimmer?

I have just picked up a pair of Continental 26x1 off ebay for my Cannondale, really fast on these.Your rims need to be narrow enough though.Other than that I use Specialized Fatboys 26x1.25

I run several sets of fatboys across my collection........great, robust and light........with a cool little westie dog on the side too!....
