Back when I am not sure maybe 1995 ish, I rode the tour of Mont Blanc, it's was a guided tour, Steve Wade of Orange was there a bunch of the regular guys and Joe Burt. Joe came along to cover the story for MBUK. Anyway we spent a week circumnavigating Mont Blanc, I was on a 1993 Kona CinderCone with a Manitou 1 fork , the other bikes were a couple of proflex 855, Joe was on a sling shot, Steve was testing out the X1 full Susser that was cutting edge at the time. And a mixture of hard tails for everyone else, as I think more is coming back. I spent most of my time in the air trying to control the bike and a few times on the floor trying to recover for over zealous attempts at descending. This is probably why people take bigger bikes to the alps nowadays. So at the end of the trip Joe knocked up this drawing of me crashing as Mint Sauce. The story of the whole thing is way bigger but I am crap at writing. Here's my own Joe Burt Mint Sauce Me drawing.

Mint has a flying helmet on, as I was nick named wing commander as I spent more time in the air than on the ground, hence the wing co at he bottom
