Went to a car boot sale entirely on a whim (normally in a car but today on a whim) and picked this odd mishmash of parts.

No identifiable paint underneath

Spinner drop-outs on the P2 style/esque ahead forks

old world meeting new with older style DX cantis. low pro 110 BCD LX chainset and a Dia-Compe aheadset.

tapered seat tube

Rounded un-stamped dropouts

DX hubs on Araya RM-17

Turbo saddle

Answer 22.2mm bars with gold shim

Club Roost stem

I'm thinking Trek, but lets see. Excellent condition parts under the fluffy grime!

Embarrassingly small amount paid

First look made me think 1990MY Alpinestars with the straight forks, but don't think they're spinner dropouts?

Oh and the fact the headset is 1-1/4" on an astar

It kinda says Gary Fisher to me though I don't think it is. Either way it looks like a good find.

Plans for her?
