I got a m750 frontmech that i wanted to fit on my kilauea 95. But i cant get it low enough because of the "seattube getting thick at the bottom". What to do? Other mech? How to solve it?

Do you have a top or bottom swing mech - the old fashioned (bottom swing) is the one to fit.

You need a 28.6mm, bottom pull front mech.
I've got an lx one that came off my Kilauea if you're interested?
It's not mint, but very usable.

Sean - thanks for the offer, but I would like to stay with m750 if they exist.

The conventional-swing variant of M750 was FD-M751, but these are very rare as there was very little call for conventional-swing at that time (99 onwards). Also it's a Mega9 mech, and they were designed more to suit fatter (by then mainly aluminium) seat tubes. They do work with 8-speed and slim seat tubes, but not as well. You need an FD-M737 or FD-M738.
