Evening all, I am building up a 1992 Avalanche and am a bit puzzled, the rear brake bosses have a hole at the top and the bottom that you can pass a wire through, am I right in thinking that you feed the rear gear cable through them? It seems unusual but if I try to by-pass the brake boss holes then the cable rubs.
Thanking anyone who knows!

Thanks Antfox, it is and that's what I've decided to do MrLee says that that's what they're for too. It just puzzled me that the bosses on both sides have holes.

They probably had all the bosses made with the holes in anyway, at least then all the frames when being made would have the cable guide in the correct place whatever, imagine how many mistake there could have been and frames sent back to be re-welded :(
