Retrobike Rider
Hi, I need some help collecting a late eighties specialised stumpjumper, in purple/ white from York city centre please. I only need it bringing 5miles down the road, (there’s a McDonalds’ car park where I could meet you). it’s just where I work I’m on camera so there's no chance of me nipping out
I thought that seeing as the bike is not going to cost me anything, I would pay £45.00 for your trouble. cash paid on delivery
Which is the same amount as I offered the old guy to but it last week so I think you’re getting a reasonable deal
Will probably need a big car or a van as the wheels will still be on it. (It is a busy pedestrian area though, but I’m sure you can park somewhere near ).
. There’s also a chance that there might be other bikes available at the time of collection but you will have to see what’s there on the day.
. it needs to be picked up between 8.30 and 12.00 weekdays. I think about nine o’clock is normally the busiest period, but I’m sure if you make it before 11.00 you’ll have loads of time.
The bikes easy to locate as its next to the toilets usually parked next to a bright orange diamondback (not available). there’s normally just a little bit of old rope tied to stop it falling over. I don’t need the pannier bags that it comes with.
