Hi all
While out in the van yesterday i called into one of our customers workshops and he had a Gary Fisher frame hanging on the wall ! From what i could see it had 1 1/4 headset with a quill stem and an old type " riser bar" , looked like a threaded bottom bracket and removable mech hanger but i did not recognise the decals , the nearest i have seen are 91 with the gf logo on the forks . I wondered when they stopped using the press in bb and started with that type of mech hanger ? i will try and take a picture next time im up there , it could of course not be GF at all !
Any thoughts from the Fisher experts ? also where should the frame number be ?

Cheers Paul.

Cool - get a pic. Based on my '91, serial number runs along the bottom of the down tube. 8/9 digits with the year making up digits 3 and 4.

Thanks for the reply , got a bit carried away im afraid , i went back for another look and its actually a very tired Tarpon from around 2000
I have never seen that graphic before , it seems to have been only used for a short time and on the low end models.
Cheers Paul.
