Hi,

I am trying to help someone out and need the following info, hoping someone on here will be able to.

They have a 95 Mantis Pro Floater which they wish to rebuild. Currently it has no bottom bracket fitted. It apparently is the same as a press fit Klein type with ref to bearing and axle diameter sizes. They are planning to fit a M739 crank but don't know what axle length they need, for swing arm clearance and corrcect chain line.

Does anyone have any info that could help here? I wondered if there was a Mantis technical manual with dimensions of axles for whatever crank is being used like the Klein one?

Thanks in advance for any clues!, cheers, Ash.

Its earlier than 1995 if it has a press fit BB

M739 crank requires a 107-113mm spindle depending on desired chainline. He should be fine with a 107 unless he likes a wide chainline.
