Tyre choices for HONC 2014!

Nothing like forward planning.

Looking for tyre options for wet, dry, plasticine and road mix for next year's attempt at the 50.

Anybody got any advice or rubber to pass my way.

All I have is conti verticals and vapours at present unless I want city jets!

Also which of my steeds? Thinking Grisley, MF or Marin as that's all I've got.

I've just bought some Panaracer Cinder folders from Merlin Cycles - £29.90 delivered for the 1.95" version.

Excellent tyre with great reviews and the 1.95 flavour would get you through any road sections as well...

Anything else? Would a semi slick like a pana Mach ss work in the dry? (Optimistic me)

Not sure what bikes you've got or about the event but if it's 50 miles, I'd be thinking light-weight hard-tail.
