I was also wondering that just this week.

A quick google reveals Tange is Japanese. The A is probably going to be said like the a in all, and the e like the e in everybody. The ng would probably be said as in the English word fang.

But whenever I read Tange in my head the ange sounds like in the word orange :)

I have always said Tange: tanje, one syllable, but I believe the correct pronunciation is tang-eh. with a hard "g" (sorry don't know how to diagram a word with my keyboard)
