That's really interesting, please put a thread in the forum about it please.

So you just use a nine speed shifter with clicks left over?

I've seen similar setup using just the spider parts of the cassettes.
I think the last one I looked at was on saltys Ti Jones bike to long since sold)
That may have been 6 speed though.
