Gentlemen,
The pic relays seveal hundred thousand words and perhaps 30 pages of posts. I move that said carefully removed crank arm and parts be shipped to Woz, LGF, and FC forensic analysis in search of any trace residue of any type of AS compound, grease, lubricant, or corrosion inhibitor.

We may have started the How To Remove A Frozen Square Taper Crank thread.

From the axle it was shorn
In the day when there was no lube
But the doubters they decried
And the proof was cast aside

the sound of a clank

as the chainset fell on the floor

The derailleur laughed to see such fun
