Came across these on the bay

I'd never heard of a run of 100 shimano pneumatic shifters..? Anyone got any experience with them? Presumably as there was only 100, they were not economically viable (or just crap?!). Interesting bit of tech history though.

Wow, that's insane!

Not sure I'd put the air bottle on the down tube of a dh bike but I guess it's more a showpony than anything else :)
