Location: Near a tree, by a river in a hole in the ground....
Just had the M-trax out to fit a new pair of RS3's and as I was doing it I though, "I'll just give the rest a once over"

Glad I did as my 15year old Panaracer Smoke had gone through at not 1 but 2 places on the sidewall to the extent that a small hernia of tube was poking through

Was due to take the dog up the hill tomorrow at Innerleithen, not the sort of place for a blow out at speed!

Oh replacement option is a beautiful 2.2 Cannibal (my fave tyre ever after the Smoke) so it's now sitting pretty with new cranks and rear tyre

I could attempt to patch the smoke but I think it's earned it's retirement.
