This item had me thinking 'what is retro?' yet again...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MUDDY-FOX-muddyfo ... dZViewItem

- from the days when a retro brand met with future thinking. In this case, how much was 'marketing' and how much was science?

But that was then (remember Fred Salmon!) - how do we feel about going back to the future as the retro dateline moves inexorably forward?
