Hi all,I have a Litespeed Tellico I was trying to throw together quickly. All was going well until I got to the rear brakes, there aren't any holes on the frame for the tension springs on the brakes to locate in also the canti pivot bosses use an M10x1.5mm pitch thread.
There weren't any with the frame and these appear to be not a common size.
Anyone Know what should be used? is it peculiar to this frame?
Cheers Kit :?

M10 brake studs with a 1.5mm thread pitch are available on US eBay.

You won't need a hole for the spring if you use a brake with a hole in the rear adjusting nut (eg: Dia-Compe 986 or 987).

If you want to use a different brake you'll probably need a washer with an offset hole in it for the spring. The washer goes between the stud and the frame boss. These washers were used on Pace RC35s (and probably a few other forks) so should be easy to get hold of (might need drilling out to M10 though :D ).

Thanks for that, I've choice of 960 Vs or 970s so going to need the washers, but at least now I know they exist and what to ask for.
Regards Kit
