As per title really - anyone know the seat post diameter for this frame

Did a search first but no joy so far

I know it's between 28.6 and 31.8 :!:

thanks gents - seems a weird size

don't suppose anyone has one do they?

plenty of 29.4 or 29.6 available on ebay - would i get away with 29.4?

agree it does, that's why I checked on post, don't have a spare but can see if also have 29.4 or 29.6 and see if fits, I have a '91 pine mountain frame as well and its basically same frame I believe

...my 1990 Eldridge has a 29.6mm post and it fits perfectly...Craig (chiswickcollectables) got it from the states for I think £20 delivered. Its black and in the retro style...you should pm him to find out...

Thanks guys. 29.4 or 29.6 are readily available on eBay.

Going to order both and see which is best.

Thank gents for the help.


If I wanted a Silver post, then I would go 29.6 and polish it a bit g :)

Well bit of a u turn! Just found a silver in 29.6 for a £5 posted so let's see how that goes
