No pics, sorry, all built up in the 656 at the moment...

The steerer is stepped at the bottom to 1 1/8" on Proflex's and the top of the steerer is 1" so the split shim does the job of making up the difference in size between the two. You can work a combo out using bottom half 1 1/8" and top 1" but you will still need a top reducer cup for the 1" headset.

On F7 orange forks there is no step, so reducer cups will ensure a better fit as the crown race will be 1" not 1 1/8" owning both Proflex and Orange I'm used to both set-ups.
