So I have some pedals which have a 1/2 inch spindle but I need the 9/16ths...anyone tried swapping out the spindles from other pedals? Is it easy or even worth the hassle?

Frustrating as they are NOS sharkbites...just the wrong size.

Done this on some new wellgo's ,I used a large clean white cloth,so I could see any ball bearings escaping, swopped over holding bearings in place with grease, but don't tighten the lock nut too much,I did 1st time
I also found bit easier to use thin walled sockets for the job,but nipped 1st but with long nosed pliers

If you have a knackered pedal, take it apart to practice :-)

CRC have replacement spindles for DMR pedals so l assume that both sizes are the same apart from the thread
at the end. If they do em for DMR there must be others.
