£20 for a perfectly usable bike to get you from A to B sounds reasonable enough to me, just don't get any delusions of grandeur and expect it to handle real off-road stuff for very long, or be particularly nice to ride.

...and I find the phrase 'get a job' kind of bizarre when thats exactly what I'm trying to do? And if the members of Retrobike want to help out, that is entirely up to them. It has happened many a time for many members who have hit hard times or need a little help.

Have you been on the sauce? Has your Activator let you down some how?

Falling on hard times ? Didn't the bike shop get rid of you cos you were useless

And BTW its not about the craptivator ....its about the continuous slagging if anyone so much as mentions it....there are worse

Think a personal attack on someone going through a difficult time is a bit pathetic.

Now who is being the 'dick' - you really typed that out? Because a few people never liked what was a simple marketing ploy?

Very sad.

...thats because you jumped down the throat of anyone who dared to criticize. Shouting like a whiny kid when at the most, phrases like 'golden turd' and 'crap' were used by members - hardly a personal attack on yourself , not deserving of the responses that followed. Personal attacks on other members wont win you over any friends either.

The Activator was just a gimmick to cash in on something, as others have written, it was sold in order to keep the company going in the face of stiff competition from the far East. It was very bad and its reputation is pretty deserved.

Hers a too small pic of Rampages' tongue firmly in cheek build of his Activator II

And a link to it being ridden hard...
