I have recently bought a tatty old 92 stump jumper that I plan to build up as a single speed!
As I bought it as a frame only I'm not quite sure what length steerer I need for the forks.

I know the forks i need are 1" and the steerer tube of frame is 90mm!

Any help would be appreciated!!

I'm after some forks in the correct length (or longer that I can cut down) and also a suitable heaset if anyone knows of any?

The steerer of the original fork from my 19" '92 Stumpjumper Comp measures 125mm.

In general, you can work out the steerer length you need (for a threaded fork) by adding the head tube length to the stack height of the headset:

Your frame will have been made for JIS cups:

If you can't find a suitable JIS fork, you can have the head tube reamed and fit an ISO headset.
