Always had a love for the brief fling Mavic had with MTB groupsets from the late 80s to early 90s.I ran XT thumbies on an 845 rear with a Sachs 7 speed block on Paris Dakkar hubs-pretty fussy shifting.....Anyone got pics of their Mavic equipped bikes, how is it working out for you?

The triplets - but they're old pics. Waiting for the sun to come out to do it properly...
Now with Campag brake levers and ODI grips

Still not there yet - but now with Mavic BB and wheelset on the way.... Just brakes and headset needed now....

Now with Mavic rims, Bottom bracket and brake levers.

Shifting isn't as good as Shimano - let's not beat about the bush - it's not stuff for beginners when it comes to setting it up.

But the Look is one of the nicest riding bikes I've had.

Mmmmm, soon my pretty, soon :)

Yes, Lemond did have full Mavic equipped bike, probably the only one back in 1992, got some photos somewhere, just completing my Pace Mavic build, taken me a blinking age, but love that kit

Lemond goodness
