Remembered seeing a service guide somewhere and just found it. Sadly in French and might not even be for the right model but maybe useful:

Actually that looks pretty useful! Thanks lrh.

I don't speak very good French but I could sort of follow it. If I manage a workable translation I'll post it
up here.

I'm going to start a thread on this. I'm going to need to decide whether to attempt the repair (I always prefer to salvage than replace) or just get a rock shox or something. I'm guessing it'll be a question of getting seals as walleater says.

Good idea.
Glad I posted!
Doesn't look overly complicated so worth a try for Luddites like me even!
Seals may be an issue.
What psi is that I wonder as my tablet is a tad small?
What grade oil?

Cheers

Excellent.
Mine's the carbon.
Do we know what amount of travel it should have as I had a look but couldn't see any figures.

They made a 55, a 40 and the carbon.

If there no end to quick, educated replies on this site?
Thanks

I'll be taking her apart soon as I have entered the BORS in 12th May, so a little more movement won't come amiss.

actually 55 is suppose to have 55 mm travel, 40 mm for obsys 40 and something between 25 and 30 mm for carbon one
