yes as above,got this for the wife,honest,but she likes it after a few mods to make it female friendly,
anyway,its a nice metallic green,kind of lime green,looks great with white tyres i have put on it,
cant post pics up yet,but from the description someone must know what year GT did a green timberline,
will put pics up when i have my camera linked up to this new laptop.

I had a '93 that was green, think it was "rainforest green" in the catalogue. Had a mahoosive stem on it, rode like a big bmx.
First proper mountain bike and loved it. Dont think I've done so many miles on a single bike since :-(

GT did the deep metallic green Timberline in 1994 and 1995 too.. Pics of mine should be in my sig... But it isn't lime green.

Having had a mooch on Google I'd side with JamesM's guess of 1999, pending a photo.
