Looking at donor forks to replace the internals of my 97 Judy C. I know the 98 onwards are slightly different, but do the 95-96 parts fit? Are the main differences the fixed vs bolted crown? I know I could just use different forks but my lowers are in good condition and I like the colour.

The older Judys internals do not fit. The shafts are thinner and so are the bolts.
You could use the springs and mcu's, but not the dampers.
