Specialized Forged Titanium stem

Could someone please let me know the height of the clamp area [stem to steerer]?

Need to figure out the fork steerer length I need, but haven't got the stem yet...!

I've just measured mine and i make it 35mm i'd round it up to 36mm to be on the safe side.

Is the forged Titanium the Specialized titanium stem known to break? Quite a history there.

Ive seen a couple of these FS recently. I always noticed it looked quite unique on Ned Overends bikes, but only just learnt they were forged ti. Quite trick/rare none the less. Btw all this talk of them breaking, is that when jumped & trashed on freeride bikes or through normal sensible wear & tear??

I think more "I built a Ned replica and rode it round the block and the stem broke and I landed on my face"...OK maybe overdramatic
