 Post subject: Removing canti hangers

....from e.g. Rock Shox Judys? As in hacksawing off the upward extension. Would it seriously weaken the bridge?

Hadn't realised that could be bolted - but the one at which I am looking does seem to be.

No, I have Mag 21, Judy SL and Manitou bridges I've lopped the hanger off when fitting canti's; cut off with a fine-tooth hacksaw then filed, sanded and polished...

...job done 8)

( Modded Manitou bridge on my Explosif in link below; quite a high res photo' so if you right click > view image > Ctrl + you can enlarge it and see the bridge quite clearly )
