shipping from the US and canada

anyone know of the cheapest way (company) to get a bike shipped from Canada? just been quoted $400 ca to ship from canada which seems steep - but maybe thats thegoing rate price (excluding any customs charges!).

thoughts, advice or expereince with shipping welcomed

It would be far cheaper to use usps but...send the frame and bits as one item and the wheels seperately that should see it less than $200
