I am going to get the lever blades anodized but i cant work out how to take apart the "lever travel adjuster" that sits within the lever itself. Any ideas?

I've done this and its pretty easy. You just have to hold the barrel thingy at the end of the adjuster screw in place and then just unscrew it by turning the adjuster all the way out. I use a small Allen key inserted through the hole in the barrel to hold it on place.

I was going to get some levers anodised too, but they needed the pivot bearings removed too, and that was too fiddly for me.

I'd give it a soak in WD40 or something then.
With the bearings, I took them to a bike shop and they said they could pop them out but couldn't guarantee they'd go back in, and that I might have to get some new ones. I don't think that would be that expensive but I thought it was easier to get some the colour I wanted in the first place
