In a road biking accident on Sunday

Just found out on FB and depending on what you read the prognosis isn't good...

Thoughts are with him and his family

i found out while at work, i know Michael through being in the trade as a dealer, really top guy, having looked at his facebook there was a picture of him enjoying a 60mile sportive ride on his brand new Orange Carbo on it's first ride, he'd finished building it a few days before, as i understand it he crashed about 15 miles from the end of the ride, no one else involved.

he was airlifted from the scene, is currently in a specific head trauma ward,

i really hope he gets better, it would be a great loss the bike world, not to mention his family and friends.

some sort of good news,

he has a broken neck but the main thing is he is now responsive, so that's a good sign.

this was taken on the ride he was doing before the accident
