what did you have BITD that you've never seen, owned or heard of since? for me its a pair of anodised blue bontrager bcx1-2 wheels, looked the bollocks and never seen any since, or before come to think of it. also had a set of panaracer smoke/dart 20" bmx tyres on my old mongoose race/dirt bike, again never seen since.

what you had? never to be seen again

Long hair

Mavic MA40MB rims, not uber-rare I guess, but I've not seen any since I had some on my Orange in 1994, and I can't remember the last time I saw some for sale either.

(if you read this and have some for sale then PM me  )

The good old Cateye Mity 2

Image

I can't seem to find one of these anywhere anymore, at least not in decent condition. Shame really, to me it's THE retro computer.
Perhaps I should contact Cateye to get a new batch made?

EDIT : Actually, this post sent me on a hunt across all of the interwebs rather than sticking to eBay. I might have a lead on a NIB one after all.

They're pretty common here. I have one that's like new. I'd say my LBS has at lest a dozen of them on the shelf.

You, sir, are my new best friend. :D

If he really has that many Mity 2's and they haven't corroded due to a leaking battery, I am more than willing to take 3 of them off his hands and get you some beer money for shipping them my way. I really can't find them anywhere here. If it's older than 3 years, it seems to end up in the thrashcan here.

Edit : Ouch, I forget you were in Canada. So customs charges will apply. Still, never hurts to calculate the cost.
If you are willing to look up the price for 3 + shipping, we may be able to do bussiness.

I'll check to see what's there next time I drop in. I know I saw a bunch on display with the rest of the comps at the old shop before the move.
