Weird title but what temp do you put your tyres in the washing machine at without risking dulling the logos?

you put your tyres in the washing machine?!!

what happened to a bucket of hot soapy water and a stiff brush??

but since you asked, I'd guess that 30 or 40 degree wash should do it.

30 degrees with a small sprinkle of powder/ corner of a tablet.

on their own too to minimise logo rub. as, i would generally throw some window cleaning cloths in. :)

 WTF :!: You've got to be kidding!

i recently stuck mine in the bath and showered them down....
otherwise, towards the end of a ride i find a nice long puddle (at least 2inches deep) and gently roll through it.

I've done them at 30 and 40 before but not skinwalls.
They normally need a long rinse as the washing powder sticks to them.

20 years ago, before environmental issues weighed us down too much and I lived in a student house owned by the uni where all bills were paid, we used to clean the dishes by placing them in the large showers, cover in fairy liquid, turning the showers on and then pissing off down the pub. 3 hours later and the dishes were spotless. Bikes were cleaned using a similar method but in the sports hall or halls of residence showers
