Pace 'Fat bike' Idita sport article

Hi,

Just remembering my unicorn bike from an MBUK article many years ago. It was a Pace RC200 being used in an Iditabike event, rims where doubled up, one Magura HS33 on the back, Pace forks.

Does anyone have the article by chance?

Big cheese eating bearded hardcore bloke riding it.

Think I remember that, wasn't it Brant Richards? Don't have the write up sorry, would love to see it though ;)
 
Couldn't find the Pace, although I do remembre the article in MBUK, but I did find some pics of an awesome Clark Kent built for the same kind of purpose.....



 
No way, that's mental! I've never seen that kinda thing before, would love to see the Pace too

How do they build wheels up? Looks like they miss every other hole out

That looks to be the way mate yes, rims are welded together too!

Ah ok, I thought it must be a weld holding the rims together but couldn't see any evidence of it in the other pics. :cool:
