anyone know how much it costs to have a pair of SPD`s serviced

would do it myself but not got the tool to undo the lock nut

you in a rush to do it? I'll look for a spare tool for when you collect the FRO :)

service depends on whats wrong exactly?. if the pedal bodys loose on the axle thats an easy fix, same for regreasing. the new shimano 520 pedals are cheap as chips new & work extremely well if a cheap replacements needed (damn site more reliable than eggbeaters, seen 4 different pairs of those explode recently!)

the axle is loose in the body , so i guess it will just need tightening

just not got the tool , if you got a spare that will be brilliant , and no rush

they are the old ones, 525 i think ?

for once shimano didnt make changed requiring a new tool every upgrade. so the same pedal tool works. in recent years they're changed the locking colar to alu & you can use a standard spanner :)
