Anyone know how easy it is or isn't, to get hold of elastomers for these?
If I "blindly" get some from ebay, how confident can I be that I can service them? (only looking for ones with nice teflon coated stanchions)
Anybody have any experience with these - particularly 2s and 3s
Also, can the steerers be changed or does this necessitate a whole new crown?

you cant just change the steerers , you can but you need a hydraulic press to put it back into place . You laos need a special tool to take the forks apart ( a very long allen key , jez got one ) .

can tell you all you need to know

you dont need a long allen key for the 3 or 4 , not sure you need one for the 2 , i think it was only the 1 that needed it

servicing these are easy , just a few bolts to undo and a couple of clips

give you more info if you need it

got some pdf files , dont know where from though so cant link to it

I have a pair of Manitou 3s that need a good home. If you have nice legs these would be ideal for spares. They compress ok too..
