I loved and raced a Team issue 1992 model
Came with a Rockshox mag 21 option and was XTR M900 exuipped
And the frame finished in a polished nickel plating ...would love one now sigh

My '92 BV resting in the hedge last week waiting for Mrs J. to catch up. Frame & fork acquired from Coomber in primer a couple of years ago, gave it a satin black with gloss forks rattle can job & '93 decals from Gil (closest he had at the time.)
M730 cranks, M732 thumbies, DX hubs & cantis with SS5's, Deore 2 mechs, M747 spd's, Salsa roller stem, Marin lite bars, Venhill bar ends (my 1st bar ends, c.1993), Yeti grips, X Lite post & Ritchey saddle, Z Max tyres. Also have a spare pair of wheels with 1.25 Fatboy slicks - lovely bike!

Another couple of shots from the same ride then. Mamhead near Dawlish, S. Devon. Trails are dry right now! Mrs Jimbo's bike is a first year Kilauea with '96 Judy's. Bit spoilt by v brakes & 4 bolt cranks but still with thumbies!

My sorry looking 1988 Pine Mountain awaiting some 'special treatment' over the coming winter.

Pretty rare these in 16". Lugged Tange Prestige frame with sloping top tube.

Thanks Drewson.... I've got all the bits, just trying to find someone who can do a perfect colour match. Its a sort of silver lilac colour.

My three.

1992 Bear Valley
1990 unknown frame, nickel plated and prestige tubing. Has previously been badged as a 1993 Team Issue.
1990 Bear Valley

I ended up fitting some of the parts bought for the Team Issue to the 92 BV this afternoon. Some NOS 2.0 Michelin Extra Traction gumwall tyres and a carbon Easton CT2 bar. Now rides a lot better than with the previous 2.3 Conti Verticals, which weighed a tonne.

Now looks like this:

Need to find a shim, and will then replace the flexstem with a ATAC stem. Quite tempted to fit the original forks back on instead of the Mag21's and see how it goes.

Here's my collection (not solely Marin.....but close). The IFT frame is fully built up now, so the photo is a little out of date.
