I got hold of these tyres, Can anyone shed any light on them, they are quite unusual?

Nought unusual there. Conti Traction Pros' with the yellow silica compound in the middle. They are aweful on wet roots!

I ran those for a while when they first came out, they were shit and didn't last long, lasted longer than white Porcs or Panaracer Magics, but still not that long.
