putting the parts from my donor bike onto my OCLV frame today and hit a snag lol! the mech and chainset are mega 9 size but the pic shows the front mech as low as it will go! you can see paint marks where the old front mech was and its about where i have it but its not exactly a 2mm gap to the ring lol...
even if i went to retro size rings and mech i cant see this gap closing very much?? any ideas folks?

looks like you need a bottom bracket fixing front mech .

yeah thats what i first thought but theres clearly been one on the frame before i got it..

Have you tried a standard front mech yet to see if the gap closes :?:

that one is from a bottom pull and this frame needs a top pull so i think that might sort it lol :oops:

hard to gauge fom pics but an old style/ conventional mech maybe answer, looking at tapering frame.

.....you could make a shim from coke/beer can, save mullering paint aswell.
