Hi any of the more knowlegable out there help me with a bit of info on the old DNA bikes that used to be sold from slough trading estate for a while before they folded please !

I worked a couple of doors up from them and purchased one at the time, which is realy too small for me and have collected the other recently to re-live my youth (only a bit slower)

i now have 2 DNA frames 1 18" big bone and another 19" of a slightly different model but for the life of me i can not remember the name

my friend does the titanium blast finish on the titanium bromptons so i can get a reasonable deal on making the frame a nice uniform finish and then i would like some new stickers to reinstate when putting it all back together.

the other question i have is about an IDEAL vsr pro full suss frame i am building up but the headset tube seems huge
from looking at their site i can tell it is older than any of the bikes they still list info on and unfortunately the company dont respond to info requests by email.

anyone encountered these beasts ?
and know what fits it ?

cheers
Darren

DNA was a russian brand (from Nishky Novgorod) , and you could met them under the "EBD live" brand. They made titanium frame for a lot of brand like Grey bicycle…
The original society was "USB", a titanium specialist and they could built cheap ti frame.
I met them in 2000 in the Roc d'Azur and they built me my ti prototyp with a 24" rear wheel.

But they're not very old school…

Sorry for reviving an old post...

They also made the DNA Tube :)

I have an early DNA frame with no name, but it looks exactly like a Tube, however is has different 'engraving' on the inside of the rear triangle.
