I think I remember one of those black stickers with 'Made in Taiwan' in white writing being on the BB shell !

A mate of mine had a GT Titanium in the late nineties . It was painted white with blue and red decals .
Jerome chiotti , who was racing for GT international at the same time also had a titanium frame . We were in the same club in the early nineties .

yeh, hes the one who later admitted to taking drugs & robbed frishnect of his world champs gold :evil:

I saw him getting surprisingly "crossed up" at the bombholes during the grundig world cup race in plymouth.

Yes , he gave up his jersey and medal back .
he was racing for festina at the time .

he went on to sign for Lapierre and was still in the top 3 in france , which is not bad .
he started on BMX , and went on to cyclo cross , where he became junior world champion .

yeh.. but lets not go there :)

anyone else remeber the 1991 MBA issue 20.9lb with rockshox? that was a GT xizange, classic weightweenie/ retro issue, my ultimate fave type :D :lol:
