Sorry, yuk! Bike snob in me says 'no to Trek', 'no to Specialized', 'no to Marin' and 'no to Cannondale' and bike snob in me always wins, always has......
........have I alienated everyone from me now?
I think it all stems from the fact that I spent so many years building the bloody things up for toss pot little rich kids in the shop where the money I earned wasn't enough to buy a raleigh maverick.

What's all the Ruckus about Kona. Just another mass produced over distributed bike line. OK they have it dialed I'll give them that.

If I see an old Lavadome I don't go weak at the knees
I love my particular Explosif but that has more to do with what we have been through together than loving the whole brand thing.
P.S. Marin, Cannondale and Specialised where the rich kids bikes of choice when i worked in bike shops in the early nineties. Kona's where for the hardcore riders...
