It's a cheaper end unified rear triangle job, Ballistic or Barracuda, will bounce like a pogo when pedalling hard and rear will stiffen like hell when you stand up, pretty awful to ride. Wouldn't waste any components on it.

I rode a hideous Orange X2 once (and only once), wasn't that a URT and split seat tube?

Yep, was X2 on here for sale for a while, which had to go back on Ebay. UniVega and I think even Fisher ruled the roost with these types, MBUK even raved about them! Then Cannondale brought out the Super V and Marin their FSR and everone realised the BB wanted to be in the front triangle not the rear. They still bobbed a fair bit though!

Looks like a 24" wheel frame too... Has it got BMX bars?

Does look like a Saracen Ikon swing arm though :D

Defo 26" . had some DMR bmx bars fitted via a 24/7 stem. the puzzle is why would a bottom end (?) frame be fitted with STX cranks (ok not the best but better than would be expected) and an FSA The Pig headset?
If there are any pics out there it would be good to compare before a decision is taken to build it up or take it for recycling!

There's a picture of an X1 here, but I'm sure the X2 was a bit beefier, can't find a pic anywhere!
