hi all, been lurking about on here for a week or so just to make sure its all real.... didn't know that all this old stuff was so popular!!

I'm oop in Northumberland but originally from the republic of yorkshire and ride a 1986 Cannondale SM600 with early to mid 90s mods but still on the old cam brake back end. If someone can point me in the right direction I'll try and post a few pics. The paint has just come off for re- coating but i kinda like it in bare ally so not in no rush.

Are there any other old 'Dales on here??

Anyone else North East based??

Cheers
Si

Welcome! You're in bad company here! Too much to spend your money on. 86 Cannondale, is that the one with a 24" back wheel?

Si, welcome. It's a real enough site - plenty of old cannondale love. A couple of smaller rear wheel dale owners about for sure.

Enjoy...

It should be a 24" rear wheel but it ain't. From what I can gather the 86-87 SM600 was only available with a 24" rear when finished in Slate Grey, mine is slate but with 26" rear? Sucked into trainspotting mode already on my second post
