Coolwall: surely 4-bolt chainsets are uncool?

Nop I like 4 I'm no big 'S' fan but my 07 XT & XT-R are a very cool set up. unlike the old 'S' in the 90's When the likes of Cooks & Bullseye ruled the day.
 
if we're going down tis road then surely 110pcd is the only way... what was all this microdrive about?

Right hold on a moment...

The way of the Wu does dictate that 5 bolt pattern is more attractive generally due to it's better balance and aesthetic spread of load.

But...

The 4 bolt M952 XTR c'set is beautiful. The double bolting that makes it look riveted. Just perfect.

So ain't necessarily so.

maybe not so beautiful but definately aethetically pleasing.
